What is Switching your Abaca Account?

Abaca offers single sign-in for all of your accounts on our platform. This allows you to easily switch between accounts without the need to sign out and back in again. 


Additionally, you can set account nicknames to put in account names unique to your user profile.


How to switch accounts - on login

  1. Login into your account on Abaca Online Banking.
  2. After completing your 2-factor authentication, you will be prompted to select which of your accounts you’d like to start with.
  3. Select the company from the dropdown and then click Confirm.
  4. You will now login into that specific account.

How to switch accounts in the Portal

You can switch your account in two different ways after logging in. To see these features, you will need to have multiple Abaca banking accounts linked to your user profile. 

  1. Quick switch within the Top Navigation Bar
  2. Using the Accounts tab

Quick switch within the Top Navigation Bar

  1. Login into your Abaca Online Banking
  2. Look at the top navigation bar and click on the account name.

3.    You will be presented with all the accounts linked to your user account. Click on the account you would like to switch too.

Using the Accounts tab

  1. Login into your Abaca Online Banking
  2. Go to the Accounts tab in the left hand menu
  3. You will be presented with all the accounts linked to your user account.

4.    You can switch to your other accounts in two ways:
    1. To the home dashboard - You can either simply click anywhere on the account group card to be taken to the home dashboard of that particular account. 
    2. Specific action pages - Click on the three dots in the right-hand corner of the account card you wish to go to, hover over “Navigate” and then select the action you’d like to complete.


How to update the Account Nicknames?

Updating your Account Nicknames from the Accounts Page

  1. Login into your Abaca Online Banking
  2. Go to the Accounts tab in the left side menu.
  3. You will be presented with all the accounts linked to your user account.

4.    Click on the three dots in the right-hand corner of the account and select Set Account Nickname

5.    Pick the nickname you would like for this Abaca account.

6.    You have successfully assigned a nickname to your Abaca account!

Updating your Account Nicknames from the Settings Page

  1. Login into your Abaca Online Banking
  2. Go to the Settings tab in the left side menu.
  3. Click on the button Update Account Nicknames
  4. You will be presented with your current nicknames. To see your accounts that have been unassigned, click the checkbox Show Unassigned
  5. Click on the hamburger icon and then on Edit Account Nickname

6.    Pick the nickname you would like for this Abaca account.

7.    You have successfully assigned a nickname to your Abaca account!
